About Us
The TEA Cares initiative began in 2007 with the purpose of informing TEA members about a range of non-profit organizations that offer opportunities for charitable giving and volunteer services. In 2010, the TEA Cares Foundation was established.
TEA Cares has vetted each organization it supports to determine the authenticity and suitability for our volunteers to contribute their time. While the TEA Cares Foundation is very pleased to have relationships with these particular organizations so that it can confidently recommend them, it also acknowledges that many other charitable causes are supported by TEA members, their friends, and associates. TEA encourages all of these efforts. However, TEA members should know that the TEA Cares Foundation is only accountable for ensuring the quality of programs of its own set of organizations.
Mission
To provide relief to the disenfranchised and disabled by supporting education, women empowerment, and animal welfare initiatives. Help raise funds, donations, and humanitarian aid. Provide material, financial, and consultative aid to those in need. Through fundraising and volunteering, support NGOs that provide relief to the vulnerable, advance education in disenfranchised communities, and promote animal welfare. Facilitate volunteering opportunities by connecting volunteers to the NGOs we support, in order to make a significant and positive contribution to the upliftment of our community.
Objectives
- Reach out to and onboard NGO partners across various causes.
- Coordinate with them, and keep track of their requirements.
- Support and provide them with available resources to fulfill those requirements.
- Create and execute action plans in collaboration with them to satisfy future needs.
- Provide them with an additional platform to increase their reach and visibility both offline and online.
- Actively involve members of TEA Cares in volunteering work.
