About Us

The TEA Cares initiative began in 2007 with the purpose of informing TEA members about a range of non-profit organizations that offer opportunities for charitable giving and volunteer services. In 2010 the TEA Cares Foundation was established.

TEA Cares has vetted each organization it supports to determine the authenticity and suitability for our volunteers to contribute their time. While the TEA Cares Foundation is delighted to have relationships with these particular organizations to recommend them confidently, it also acknowledges that many other charitable causes are supported by TEA members, their friends, and associates. TEA encourages all of these efforts. However, TEA members should know that the TEA Cares Foundation is only accountable for assuring the quality of programs of its own set of organizations.

As we work with underprivileged youth in the area of skilling & integrating them to mainstream professions we also need to ensure that they exhibit capacities to understand the industry starting from facing interviews to their interaction with coworkers. TEA is associated with us since over 7 years in providing this value add to the core training vertical (le. basic computers etc). The volunteers bring in their rich experiences to share with the youth. The programs have all been structured and are implemented by the professional team of volunteers with clock work precision. This speaks not just for the volunteer spirit of "giving" but also of the professional administration skills. Impactful associations go a long way in creating change.

Sivananda Rehabilitation Home has been associated with The TEA Cares Foundation since about Decade. The Management of TEA has been Supporting our activities by providing Monetary donations for supply of MCR Chappals to the needy leprosy affected people at free of cost and also for purchasing Electronic equipment for Shoe making Section & for Eye Care Centre. Volunteered for Hospital Walls White washing and also engaging our Home children in art & craft activities etc. Our children were receiving old toys and game articles from the Foundation which were collected from the families. Expatriates coming forward and supporting a cause or understanding the people with the pain and helping them in a possible way is very much inspiring and the Management of Sivananda Rehabilitation Home appreciates the TEA Cares Foundation for the same.

PAWMENCAP is a registered association of parents with intellectually impaired persons. PAWMENCAP has been associated with TEA Cares for more than a decade now. The organisation was started to help the needy and deserving and it's doing a very excellent job. The volunteers and Liaison persons are kind and caring. They come every week to teach the children craft work, painting, and dancing. Every child enjoys the company and looks forward to having them here. They have helped us in many ways, like fixing the false ceiling in the lunch hall, which used to be very hot, buying a power generator, and donating steel cupboards for each class to name a few. TEA Cares really cares. Thank you TEA Cares for all your support and hope you will continue to be us for a long time.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to TeaCares Foundation for dedicating a week to leading fitness sessions, imaginative storytelling, and art workshops. Their contributions were invaluable to the success of the summer camp.
